Short Bio.

Dr. Fethi Filali is the Director of Technology and Applied Research at the Qatar Mobility ​Innovations Center (QMIC). He focuses on leveraging advanced technologies—such as predictive ​and generative artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and geospatial data analytics—to ​enable strategic, data-driven product development. His contributions have supported ​advancements in areas like smart cities and connected mobility, leading the creation of ​innovation-driven at QMIC that have achieved significant commercial success.


Dr. Filali earned his Ph.D. and Habilitation in Computer Science from the University of Nice ​Sophia-Antipolis in France. Committed to advancing his field, he has been recognized with over ​20 awards for his work. He has also mentored ten Ph.D. students and co-authored more than 150 ​research papers, in addition to holding over ten patents.
