Short Bio.
Dr. Fethi Filali is the Director of Technology and Applied Research at the Qatar Mobility Innovations Center (QMIC). He focuses on leveraging advanced technologies—such as predictive and generative artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, and geospatial data analytics—to enable strategic, data-driven product development. His contributions have supported advancements in areas like smart cities and connected mobility, leading the creation of innovation-driven at QMIC that have achieved significant commercial success.
Dr. Filali earned his Ph.D. and Habilitation in Computer Science from the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis in France. Committed to advancing his field, he has been recognized with over 20 awards for his work. He has also mentored ten Ph.D. students and co-authored more than 150 research papers, in addition to holding over ten patents.
